Structures Specialists — Why we CAN have nice things
(From left) Staff Sgt. Paxton Paillot and Airman 1st Class Laura Garza, both structures specialists assigned to the 380th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, inspect for further damage to the subfloor of a residential living building, July 27, 2022, at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. Using their varied skill sets and specialized materials, tools and equipment, structural specialists construct and repair buildings from the foundation up. From constructing improvised emergency disaster relief shelters and dormitories to repairing a hole in the wall, structures specialists do it all.
