Edward Lopez, a military working dog handler assigned to the 380th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, rewards his MWD, Bak, by petting him and playing with a toy during a training exercise, October 20, 2022 at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. Bak was rewarded after searching for and locating satchels emanating odors, which MWDs are trained to detect.
