908th EARS Change of Command ceremony
U.S. Air Force Maj. Matthew Molten, incoming commander of the 908th Expeditionary Air Refeuling Squadron, speaks during the change of command ceremony at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Feb. 1, 2023. During the ceremony, Lt. Col. Michael Deprey relinquished command. The primary purpose of a change of command is for subordinates to witness an officer formally assume responsibility, authority and accountability for the unit. These ceremonies preserve the tradition of military service and stimulate unit esprit de corps. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Stephani Barge)
