United States Central Command and Royal Jordanian Armed Forces Conduct Additional Airdrops of Humanitarian Aid Into Gaza
A U.S. Air Force loadmaster stands on the ramp of a HC-130J Combat King II after airdropping humanitarian aid over Gaza, March 5, 2024. Three U.S. Air Force C-130 variants released 60 pallets, consisting of over 36,800 U.S. and Jordanian meals, during the humanitarian airdrop mission. The joint and combined mission leveraged the expertise of U.S. Air Force Central Airmen and U.S. Army Central Command Soldiers specializing in the packaging, loading, and release of pallets for aerial delivery.
