AFCENT deploys AMC C-17s to enhance humanitarian airdrops into Gaza

A U.S. Air Force loadmaster pushes a pallet of humanitarian aid supplies destined for Gaza onto a C-17 Globemaster III assigned to Air Mobility Command at an undisclosed location within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, March 13, 2024. Joint Base Charleston deployed airdrop-qualified C-17 aircrews to further enhance airdrop efforts to deliver humanitarian aid into Gaza. In the Coalition’s effort to support civilians suffering from the hardships of continued conflict in Gaza, the U.S. delivered aid via airdrop to ensure expedited delivery and access to food and water.
