U.S. Airmen, Soldiers load U.S. C-17s with humanitarian aid destined for Gaza
A U.S. Army Central Command parachute rigger secures humanitarian aid destined for Gaza onto a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III at an undisclosed location within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, March 16, 2024. The aid arrived via airdrop to Gaza the following day. The joint and combined mission leveraged the expertise of U.S. Air Forces Central Airmen and ARCENT Soldiers specializing in the packaging, loading, and release of pallets for aerial delivery. The U.S. has conducted 13 combined airdrop missions since March 2 to support civilian populations on the ground in Gaza. (U.S. Air Force photo)
