CMSgt Jason L. Parrish is the Senior Enlisted Leader of the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW), Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. Chief Parrish is the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Wing Commander on all matters affecting readiness, training, health, welfare, morale, quality of life, and the professional development of more than 1,800 assigned joint warfighters. The wing executes strategic mission sets, encompassing Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, Command and Control reporting center assets, Theatre Security Cooperation, and Agile Combat Employment/Dynamic Force Employment missions in direct support of 9th Air Force and U.S. Central Command Priorities.
Chief Parrish was born on Goodfellow Air Force Base (AFB), Texas, and was raised as an Air Force dependent living in multiple stateside and overseas assignments. He calls Greenville, North Carolina home and entered active duty in August 1997. As a career Defender, he has served in a variety of Law Enforcement, Base Defense, and Military Working Dog roles in garrison and in the deployed theatre. He has directly supported Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, and UNIFIED RESPONSE. Prior to his current assignment, Chief Parrish served as the Senior Enlisted Leader, 673 Mission Support Group, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
