Colonel Paul Sheets is Commander of the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing. He is responsible for the wing’s armed over-watch mission, encompassing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and command and control reporting center assets, as well as theatre security cooperation and Agile Combat Employment and Dynamic Force Employment missions in direct support of U.S. Air Forces Central and U.S. Central Command priorities.
Colonel Sheets earned his commission through the United States Air Force Academy in 2000. He is a command pilot with more than 2,800 flight hours in the HH-60G, HH-60W, HC-130J, UH-1 H and T-37. He has multiple combat deployments supporting Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE, and Hurricane Katrina.
