Colonel Ronald L. Selvidge

Colonel Ronald L. Selvidge Jr. is the Commander, 380th Air Expeditionary Wing, Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. He is responsible for the wing’s armed over-watch mission, encompassing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and command and control reporting center assets, as well as theatre security cooperation and Agile Combat Employment and Dynamic Force Employment missions in direct support of U.S. Air Forces Central and U.S. Central Command priorities.

Colonel Selvidge began his military career as an enlisted aircraft maintenance technician in the 134th Air Refueling Wing, Tennessee Air National Guard in 1990. In 1997, Selvidge earned his commission from the Academy of Military Science, Air National Guard commissioning program, returning to Tennessee as a pilot in the 134th Air Refueling Wing.

Colonel Selvidge is a command pilot with more than 5200 flying hours primarily in the KC-135. Additionally, Colonel Selvidge served in various command positions within the 134th Operations and Maintenance Groups. Prior to his current position as the Deputy Commander of the 134th Air Refueling Wing, the Colonel was the Commander of the 134th Operations Group.
