ALI AL SALEM AIR BASE, Kuwait -- Members from the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing welcomed members from Joint Base Charleston’s lead wing team, at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, 11 June 2023. The teams hoped to share knowledge, hone logistics and operational expertise, and ensure a smooth transition for future deployments. The lead wing creates deployed teams composed of several Air Force operational capabilities, including a wing headquarters command and control force element, one or more mission generation force elements, and an air base squadron force element.
