386th AEW, host nation air force hold base open house

SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Members of the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing and their host nation air force partners conducted an open house Feb. 23, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Family members, embassy staff, military personnel from all U.S. branches and host nation dignitaries got the chance to get up close to aircraft from both countries and build even closer relationships to U.S. and host nation counterparts. Members from the 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineering Squadron Explosive Ordinance Disposal Flight and the 386th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron Military Working Dog Section also conducted demonstrations for the crowds to showcase some of the wing's protection capabilities.
