Best, brightest 386th Marauders recognized during ceremony

SOUTHWEST ASIA --  The 386th Air Expeditionary Wing's top Marauders for May were recognized June 1 during the monthly awards ceremony held at the base theater.

All nominees demonstrated that they have the drive and dedication needed to compete at the wing level, but the winners selected had something that put them above the competition.

The 386th Airman of the Month came from the 386th Expeditionary Medical Group, Senior Airman Breanna Nygren. The 386th Noncommissioned officer of the Month also came from the 386th EMDG, Staff Sgt. Robert Brown III.

The 386th Expeditionary Maintenance Group provided the 386th Senior NCO of the Month, Master Sgt. Joshoa Oribello. The 386th EMXG also provided May's Company Grade Officer of the Month, 1st. Lt. Fernando Rolon.

The wing's Outstanding Team of the Month came from the 387th Air Expeditionary Group, the 387th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron Bravo Flight. The team consisted of Senior Airman Octavia Silentman, Staff Sgt. Aaron Dieringer, Staff Sgt. Geoff Bug, Tech Sgt. Tisha Bate, Tech Sgt. Chad Knox, Airman 1st Class Charles Lewis, Senior Airman Jennifer Kingshot and Senior Airman Christopher Jones.

The Wing's Ceremonial Honor Guardsman of the Month was Staff Sgt. Jeremy Dawley from the 386th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron.

The winners were joined by equally deserving group level nominees. Listed below are the nominees who competed against the winners listed above.

The nominees for Airman of the Month were Senior Airman Cynthia Spalding, 386th AEW; Senior Airman Mikayla Redmond, 386th Expeditionary Operations Group; Senior Airman Sara Blake, 386th EMXG; Senior Airman Cory Williams, 386th Expeditionary Mission Support Group; and Senior Airman Alan Austin, 387th AEG.

The NCO of the Month nominees were Staff Sgt. Patrice Clarke, 386th AEW; Tech Sgt. John Bowman, 386th EOG; Staff Sgt. Destiny Perez, 386th EMXG; Tech Sgt. Bruce Harrison, 386th EMSG; and Staff Sgt. Kevin Cain, 387th AEG.

The Senior NCO of the Month nominees were Master Sgt. Audrey Ruiz, 386th AEW; Master Sgt. Philip Craig, 386th EOG; Senior Master Sgt. Richard Bolton, 386th EMSG; and Master Sgt. Guadalupe Montanez, 387th AEG.

The nominees for Company Grade Officer of the Month were Capt. Heath Allen, 386th AEW; Capt. Stephanie Hahn, 386th EOG; 1st. Lt. Anthony Langley, 386th EMSG; Capt. Daisy Rupe, 386th EMDG; and Capt. Jeremy Pallas, 387th AEG.

The nominees for Ceremonial Honor Guardsman of the Month were Senior Airman Shandralekha Carlos and Airman 1st Class Malika Bright, both from the 386th ESFS.

Nominees for Team of the Month were from the 386th EOG, the 386th Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron Intel/Tactics office; from the 386th EMXG, the 386th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron Sortie Support Flight; and from the 386th EMSG, the 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight.
