Top Marauders recognized for the month of April

SOUTHWEST ASIA --  The 386th Air Expeditionary Wing's top members were recognized May 2 during the monthly awards ceremony held at the base theater.

The winners came from a list of nominees who have demonstrated that they have the drive and dedication to go above and beyond their peers.

The 386th Airman of the Month came from the 386th Expeditionary Maintenance Group, Senior Airman Omar Marrero.

The 386th Noncommissioned officer of the Month came from the 386th Expeditionary Medical Group, Staff Sgt. Ronald Cruz.

The 386th Expeditionary Mission Support Group provided the 386th Senior NCO of the Month, Master Sgt. James Crosson.

The 386th EMDG also provided this month's Company Grade Officer of the Month, Capt. Rebekah Mooney.

The wing's team of the month came from the 387th Air Expeditionary group, the 387th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron Convoy Team.

The Wing's Ceremonial Honor Guardsman of the month came from the 5th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron, Tech Sgt. John Mason.

The winners were joined by equally deserving group level nominees. Here are the nominees who competed against the winners listed above.

The nominees for Airman of the Month were Airman 1st Class Teneka Cooper, 386th AEW; Senior Airman Sarah Garasz, 386th Expeditionary Operations Group; Senior Airman Miesha Benson, 386th Expeditionary Mission Support Group; Airman 1st Class John Sharrow, 386th EMDG; and Airman 1st Class Phillip Willis, 387th AEG.

The NCO of the Month nominees were Tech. Sgt. Karissa Gunter, 386th AEW; Tech Sgt. Jason Merideth, 386th EOG; Tech Sgt. Charles Forrest, 386th EMXG; Tech Sgt. Jorge Ortiz-Rivera, 386th EMSG; and Staff Sgt. Cluite Wint, 387th AEG.

The Senior NCO of the Month nominees were Master Sgt. Scott Jennings, 386th EOG and Master Sgt. Boyce McPherson, 387th AEG.

The nominees for Company Grade Officer of the Month were 1st. Lt. George Metros, 386th EOG; Capt. Wesley Wade, 386th EMXG; Capt. Kelly Coster, 386th AEW; Capt. Christian Castro, 386th EMSG; Capt. Julia Jefferson, 387th AEG.

The nominees for Ceremonial Honor Guardsman of the Month were Airman 1st Class Travis Michel, 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron and Airman 1st Class Daniel Middaugh, 386th ECES.

Nominees for Team of the Month were for the 386th AEW, the 386th AEW Safety Office; from the 386th EOG, the 737th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron Crew 1; from the 386th Expeditionary Mission Support Group, the 386th Expeditionary Communications Squadron cable maintenance team' from the 386th EMXG, the Aerospace Ground Equipment team and from the 386th EMDG, the Aerospace Medicine Operations Team.
