Medal of Honor recipients visit 'The Rock'

SOUTHWEST ASIA -- U.S. Army veteran Don Jenkins and U.S. Army Retired Lt. Col. Alfred Rascon, both Vietnam era Medal of Honor recipients, visited with 386th Air Expeditionary Wing Airmen April 10, 2010 as part of a tour through the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.

The gentlemen began their visit by paying respect to the U.S. flag during a retreat ceremony. Later they participated in an open forum with Airmen, taking turns sharing their Vietnam experiences, telling stories of other Medal of Honor recipients and bestowing words of wisdom upon the crowd.
