386th ESFS defends flag football title

SOUTHWEST ASIA -- The 386th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron "Team Grrr" defended its bowl game championship title against the 386th Expeditionary Mission Support Group Jan. 1, 2010 during the New Year's Day Dust Bowl with a final score of 40-20 at an air base in Southwest Asia.

The annual flag football tournament pitted 10 teams against one another in a single elimination format.

Leading up to the championship game, the 386th ESFS had to first defeat the 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron "Fire Dawgs" and 386th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron "T-Sup"; while the 386th EMSG outmatched the Navy and 737th Expeditionary Airlft Squadron "Desert Foxes".

The bowl game was sponsored by the Rock Solid 5/6 Council.
