386th Airmen salute the fallen
SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Honor Guard members Senior Airman Amanda Rosner, 386th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, and Airman 1st Class Ronell Wilder, 386 Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron, raise the American flag during the Memorial Ceremony as Master Sgt. Betsi Keltz, 43rd Expeditionary Electronic Combat Squadron, salutes in respect and honor for those who have died in our nation's service at an air base in Southwest Asia, May 25. Memorial Day was officially proclaimed May 5, 1868, by General John Logan, national commander of the Grand Army of the Republic and was first observed May 30, 1868. Airman Rosner is deployed from Yokota Air Base, Japan, and is originally from Alvin, Wis. Airman Wilder is deployed from Hurlbert Field Air Force Base, Fla., and is originally from Belzoni, Miss.
