I support the mission here by providing multiple lines of defense to secure and protect base personnel and resources. With the highest level of ethics and integrity, security forces Airman remain vigilant and ready to support the mission in any way necessary. How many times have you deployed and what makes this one unique? Although this is my first deployment I can see some definite unique qualities in this one. The security challenges that arise from the constant flow of Airman, Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines through the base. The work done in cooperation with the host nation Air Force. Also, the Human Remains mission that allows us to honor those who gave everything for their country and serves as a constant reminder of just what we are fighting for. How does your job differ in a deployed environment vs. home base? My job differs here from my home station by the squadron dropping law enforcement operations and focusing solely on security and air base defense. Doing this allows us to dedicate all of our resources and manning on the specific mission of the AOR.
