Job: Operations Intelligence Analyst

Home unit/base: 421st Combat Training Squadron, Fort Dix, N.J.

How do you support the mission here? I provide intelligence support for
Force Protection operations both internal and external to Ali Al-Salem AB.

How many times have you deployed and what makes this one unique? This is my
second deployment. This deployment is unique because I have the opportunity
to work in concert with my U.S. Army counterparts, which has enhanced my
knowledge and experience in the joint forward operations environment.

How does your job differ in a deployed environment vs. home base? At home
station, I provide instruction to other intelligence analysts in supporting
force protection operations both CONUS and OCONUS. In this deployed
environment I get to put into practice those items I teach.
