What makes this one unique? Tech. Sgt. Lauren Hummel received a "Citation of Commendation" from the Japanese Air Self Defense Force (JASDF). According to Maj. Kenichi Suzuki, Chief of Logistics Division for the JASDF, Sergeant Hummel's "profound dedication of parts supply efforts through the ACSA framework directly resulted in the high mission capable rate of our C-130 fleet." Without question, Sergeant Hummel has demonstrated tremendous leadership as an "irreplaceable partner" to the effort of the base coalition mission.
