Rock Solid Warrior Published April 22, 2007 386 EMSG SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Staff Sgt. Shawn M. Good Staff Sgt. Shawn M. Good 386 Expeditionary Mission Support Group/PERSCO 3S051/Manper-B Operator Home unit/base: 88 MSS, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio How do you support the mission here? My primary responsibility is personnel accountability for seven different locations within the AOR. We are tasked to account for all assigned and transient Air Force personnel. I also update the SITREP/WOC reports daily for wing leadership review. I'm charged with ensuring the reports are accurate and reflect current total force accountability as well as information on early departures, emergency leaves and any casualties we may have in the AOR. How many times have you deployed and what makes this one unique? This is my first deployment. How does your job differ in a deployed environment vs. home base? In the deployed environment my main goal is getting members inprocessed & outprocessed, forward deploying members, and redeploying members back to home station. Each day in the deployed environment is different from the day before. Back at home station I work in Reenlistments & Special Actions where the daily routine seems to be the same.
