I provide supply support to various allied customers assigned here in the AOR. My job is to maintain the Base Service Store account and ensure all assets are ordered and tracked in the supply system. I also order and monitor all hazardous material required by customers on base. How many times have you deployed and what makes this one unique? This is my first deployment and it has been a learning experience so far. How does your job differ in a deployed environment vs. home base? Being deployed is more of a stressful environment. I have the opportunity to interact with more military personnel here than I do at my home station and the responsibilities I have here are far greater and more challenging. Working in a different supply capacity has helped me expand my knowledge of the supply career field. I know this will be beneficial to my career path.
