386 EOG Commander awarded Command Pilot Rating

SOUTHWEST ASIA --  Col. Ronald Celentano, 386th Expeditionary Operations Group Commander, logged his 3,000th flying hour on March 23 rd, 2007. "I'm glad to have the opportunity to fly again after a five-year hiatus," said Col. Celentano. "This was a personal goal of mine." The Command Pilot Rating is the highest aviation rating in the United States Air Force. Col. Celentano was the Ops Group commander in Dec. 2006 when the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing posted a record 99.4% Mission Effective Rate, a feat the Operations Group played a large part in. "I am grateful to be here, to have a chance to command the finest Operations Group in the AOR," the Colonel said.
