  • 386th Expeditionary Logistic Readiness Squadron vehicle maintainers keep the fleet rolling

    The 386th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron Vehicle Management Flight is responsible for the service and maintenance of all vehicles of the 386th Expeditionary Air Wing here. The vehicle management flight provides maintenance support to a 936-vehicle fleet, valued at approximately $123 million. Of the 936 vehicles 336 of them are leased from a local company in the host nation.

    The 386th Air Expeditionary Wing at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, completed an Air and Missile Defense Exercise 21-02, April 21, 2021. AMDEX is a semi-annual U.S. Air Forces Central-led exercise that develops and exercises tactics, techniques and procedures against simulated air, force protection and missile threats. Multiple locations throughout the U.S. Central Command theater participated in this event over the course of multiple days.
