U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Tyrone Carter, Bravo Battery, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 6th Marines, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) assistant communications chief and his brother, U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Ivory Carter, Jr., 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron assistant chief of fire prevention pose in front of a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The brothers are military brats and call Miegs, Georgia home. Ivory deployed from 87th CES, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakenhurst, New Jersey in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Tyrone deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
