A-10 Pilot reaches 3,000 combat flight hours
Capt. Bob "Grim" Burdette, 75th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, and Lt. Col. Sam "Spam" Milam, 75th EFS commander, complete a mission, Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Feb. 28 that gave Colonel Milam more than 3,000 combat flight hours. "I am very happy, it was a lot of hard work and its a great thing. Many man hours go into each flight and its a great accomplishment." He also thanked the crew chiefs because without them, they would not be able to do their mission. Both pilots are deployed from Moody Air Force Base, Ga.
