Wing recognizes promotees, award winners

BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan --  Members of the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing honored the wing's newest promotees, top performers and outstanding contributor during the monthly recognition ceremony here Nov. 1.

The November promotees were:

To Airman 1st Class: Luz Escobar and Noel Rivera.

To Senior Airman: Shannon Crystal, Chantel Davis, Travis Ernst, Stephen Fitts, Michael Fulton, Kristina Hayes, Ryan Lett, Jubert Morano, Christopher Morgan, Regina Mulder, Thomas Penny and Kristina Schmelzer.

To Staff Sergeant: Laura Duquain, Jose Hernandez Torres, Ashley Howard, Mark Jaojoco, Stanford Kimble, Daniel March, Amy Mellino, David Nicolosi, Ebony Ragin, Eric Struck, Calvin Tang and Thomas Tedone.

To Technical Sergeant: Edward Dubaniewcz, Jorge Figueroa, Melissa Gyles, Gerald Harris and Marlo Holloway.

To Master Sergeant: Cayle Harris, David Komandt and William Underwood.

To Senior Master Sergeant: Tommy Starner.

To First Lieutenant: James Putnam.

To Captain: Michelle Lepmke.

To Major: Daniel Hatchel and Kevin Wiley.

To Lieutenant Colonel: Vanessa Grant.

The Wing also recognized its best of the best for outstanding contributor outside the wing and the Top Performers in the Airman, NCO, Senior NCO, CGO and civilian categories for October. The winners in their respective category were:
Outstanding Contributor: Petty Officer 2nd Class Brian Miller, 455th Expeditionary Operations Group.

Airman of the Month: Senior Airman Sean Rooney, 455th Mission Support Group.

NCO of the Month: Staff Sgt. Alexander Rosales, 455th Expeditionary Maintenance Group. 

Senior NCO of the Month: Master Sgt. Samuel Brown, 755th Air Expeditionary Group.

CGO of the Month: Capt. Michael Siebert, 755th AEG.

Civilian of the Month: Mr. Charles Anthony, 755th AEG.

Finally, the wing introduced a new award category -- Start Right, Finish Strong. This category recognizes Airmen who have best exemplified the wing's motto. The honorees were:
