Wing recognizes promotees, monthly award winners

BAGRAM AIR BASE, Afghanistan --  Unit pride and adulation filled the standing-room-only hangar as members of the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing honored the Wing's newest promotees, top performers and outstanding contributor during the monthly recognition ceremony here April 1. 

The newly-appointed NCOs and senior NCOs in attendance were administered their respective charges by Senior Master Sgt. Patrick Porter and Chief Master Sgt. Tony Cameron, 755th Air Expeditionary Group first sergeant and chief enlisted manager. 

The March promotees were: 

To Airman 1st Class: Jamie Brown, Marissa Burke and Christopher Thompson. 

To Senior Airman: Kyle Billings, Michael Blankshain, Aaron Koehler, Zachary Martin, Digna Aurora Ramos, Jason Rollins and Jonathan Short. 

To Staff Sergeant: Tyler Blakeslee, Pouthasone Bouasym, Isaac Boyd, Mathew Busman, Humberto Carrillo, Johnathan Chapman, Lawatha Cherrenfro, Tiffany Ferrer, Daniel Dodd, Casey Gallinger, Joshua Harden, Fabio Horton, Isaac Ibarra, Nicholas Igl, Adam Labarr, Joshua McCraney, Ngwa Kaunda Ntumngia, Stephen Ocenosak, Stephen Petche, Anne Reeser, Brandon Smith, Gordon Stimson, Gene Tschida, Daniel White, and Benjamine Yarn. 

To Technical Sergeant: Kristopher Audette, Jenny Hendry, Jason Herriges, Lloyd Ickes, Robert Powell, Victor Renderos, Sudhakar Rengaraj, Marvin Wallace and Wesley Wheeler. 

To Master Sergeant: Mario De Souza, Jumar Harrison, Michael Hawks, Shaft Jacobs, Brandi Limardo, Greg Lyons, Corey Moore, Michel Riley, and Jacques Wright.
To Senior Master Sergeant: Gary McCarty. 

The Wing also recognized its best of the best for outstanding contributor outside the wing and the Top Performers in the Airman, NCO, Senior NCO, CGO and civilian categories for March. The winners in their respective category were: 

Outstanding Contributor: 1st Lt. Robert J. Charles, Jr., Task Force MED 

Airman of the Month: Senior Airman Michael J. Neal, 455th Expeditionary Medical Group 

NCO of the Month: Tech. Sgt. Taras W. Bates, 455th Expeditionary Operations Group 

Senior NCO of the Month: Master Sgt. Trenton A. Bare, 755 AEG 

CGO of the Month: Capt. Neil Chandler, 455th Expeditionary Mission Support Group 

Civilian of the Month: Mr. Jonathan D. Stewart, 455 EOG
