Senior Airman Carlos Moreno, 455th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, exchanged vows with his new wife, Carolina, over a video teleconference at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, May 26.

The VTC wedding connected the two from Airman Moreno's home station of Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. with his parents and co-workers in attendance.

On the Bagram side of the teleconference, Airman Moreno was joined by many of his friends and co-workers from his deployed location as witnesses and to show their support.

During the ceremony, the priest, at the Vandenberg end, recited the vows as Carolina and Airman Moreno repeated them.

After the final "I do's," Airman Moreno was congratulated by his fellow security forces Airmen and was allowed some time to speak with his new bride and family in attendance at Vandenberg.

Airman Moreno took the opportunity to thank all the individuals that made this possible at both ends.

Airman Moreno is deployed from the 30th Security Forces Squadron at Vandenberg and plans to take his new wife, Carolina, on their honeymoon after he returns from his deployment.
