Crew chiefs provide breathing room
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Matthew Martin, 455th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron C-130J Super Hercules crew chief, services a C-130J with liquid oxygen at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Feb. 21, 2014. LOX is oxygen in the form of liquid until it is converted into gas, which allows pilots, aircrew members and everyone on board the aircraft the ability to breathe while in the air.
