A-10 Thunderbolt II Maintenance

BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan --  U.S. Airmen assigned to the 455th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron performed routine maintenance on an A-10 Thunderbolt II at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan Dec. 30, 2013. After spending a certain amount of time in the air, the A-10's must receive routine maintenance.

The A-10 Thunderbolt II has a wide combat radius and short takeoff and landing capabilities, as well as being able to provide close-air support for troops on the ground.
