Senior military leaders make Thanksgiving day visit to Bagram

BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan --  Servicemembers, civilians and contractors were visited by several senior military leaders during a Thanksgiving day visit to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan Nov. 28, 2013.

The leaders who visited included: Mr. Ashton Carter, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense, and his wife Mrs. Stephanie Carter; Admiral William McRaven, commander, Special Operations Command, and his wife Georgeann McRaven; Maj. Gen. Kenneth Wilsbach, commander, 9th Air and Space Expeditionary Task Force - Aghanistan and deputy chief of staff Air, International Security Assistance Force Joint Command; and Chief Master Sergeant Frank Batten III, 9th Air and Space Expeditionary Task Force- Afghanistan command chief.
