‘Warrior of the Week’ Staff Sgt. Margaret Prokop

BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan --  Chief Master Sgt. Kenneth Lindsey, Command Chief Master Sergeant of the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing, presents the "Warrior of the Week" award to Staff Sgt. Margaret Prokop, 455th Air Expeditionary Wing financial management budget technician on Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Oct. 30, 2013. Prokop, a native of Bolton, Conn., deployed from Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., has filled the role as the sole FM adviser to wing leadership and served as the focal point for budget matters pertaining to financial management. While she has been the acting NCO in charge of the FM office, she's determined fund status and availability and proper use of lines of accounting. In addition she maintained financial records and files, prepared vendor payments and determined funding propriety in accordance with appropriation law.
