'Warrior of the Week' Airman 1st Class Michael Campana

BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan --  Chief Master Sgt. Steve Bohannon, Command Chief Master Sergeant of the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing, presents the "Warrior of the Week" award to Airman 1st Class Michael Campana, 455th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels distribution operator, on Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Aug. 21, 2013. Campana, a native of Ewa, Hawaii, stationed at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., singlehandedly issued more than 1.1 million gallons of jet fuel to 693 aircraft in less than three months, and bested his peers to the fuels flight's "Million Gallon Club" by one month. His attention to detail was shown when documenting all transactions, and maintaining 100 percent accuracy of $4.1 million of jet fuel, saving the Fuels Service Center more than 150 hours processing transactions to Defense Logistics Agency Energy.
