Col. Nathan A. Allerheiligen
Colonel Nathan A. Allerheiligen is Vice Commander, 455th Air Expeditionary Wing, Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan. Colonel Allerheiligen, a native of McCook, Nebraska, was commissioned in the Air Force in 1992 after graduating from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He earned his pilot wings in 1993 and has been an instructor pilot and flight examiner in multiple airframes. He completed a staff assignment as Chief of Requirements Branch for the Joint Deployment Process Owner, Joint Experimentation Directorate in Suffolk, Virginia, United States Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) in 2006. Following his staff tour, Colonel Allerheiligen held several positions at Little Rock Air Force Base, culminating in Commander, 50th Airlift Squadron, and Deputy Commander, 19th Operations Group, Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. Following, he was Course Director and Instructor at Air Command and Staff College (ACSC), and a Graduate from Air War College (AWC). He is currently deployed from 18th Air Force as the Deputy Director of Plans and Strategy, Scott AFB, IL.
