Guard Airmen repair Bagram ramp
Airmen assigned to the 455th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron remove damaged concrete on a runway ramp before placing new slabs on Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, May 22, 2013. The CES was tasked with digging up the ramp to find the root cause of a dip that occurred overnight causing the concrete to come loose and pose risk to the aircraft. The “Dirt Boyz” are deployed from Charlotte Air National Guard Base, N.C. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Stephenie Wade)
