Not forgotten: Airman refurbishes 9/11 memorial
SOUTHWEST ASIA – Chipped and faded, the irony of “Not Forgotten” emblazoned on the 9/11 memorial barrier was unacceptable to the Rising 6, who adopted the memorial and asked Senior Airman Adrianna Recine, 379th Expeditionary Medical Group medical laboratory technician, to refurbish the memorial. Recine’s goal is to capture the original artist’s intent, while adding a little of her artistic style. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Adrianna Recine)
