A Day on the Job with: 340th AMU

SOUTHWEST ASIA – From left, Staff Sgt. Benne Baumann, Senior Airman Lance McFairland and Senior Airman Josh Allison install a drogue assembly on a KC-135’s boom Feb. 13. The assembly will allow the aircraft to provide fuel to NATO and U.S. Navy aircraft. All three of the Airmen are crew chiefs assigned to the 340th Aircraft Maintenance Unit. Baumann and McFairland are both deployed from the 22nd Maintenance Group at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan.
