A Day on the Job with: 340th AMU
SOUTHWEST ASIA – From left, Airman First Class Michael Jenkins, 340th Aircraft Maintenance Unit electrician, and Airman First Class Joshua Thomas, 340th AMU electrician troubleshoot a tail cone navigation light malfunction on the tail of a KC-135 here Feb. 13. This position light is necessary to avoid mid-air collision during night time in-flight air refueling operations.
