Family Ties: brothers spend Christmas at Bagram

BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan - Staff Sgt. Derek Allen, 455th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron and his brother U.S. Army Cpl. Greg Allen, 101st Airborne Division, stand together here for the first time since 2009, Dec. 23, 2012. The brothers' chains of command worked to reunite the brothers for the holidays after an A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft maintained by Derek provided vital air support to soldiers of the 101st, including his brother.
