A Day on the Job with: Air Traffic Controllers
SOUTHWEST ASIA - Senior Airman William Wright, 379th Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron air traffic controller, updates the strip bay for an inbound aircraft Dec. 12. The strip bay helps the controllers keep track of air traffic by listing their call sign, requested altitude and other air management information. The left side of the bay keeps track of all inbound and the right all outbound aircraft. Wright is deployed from the 49th OSS at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., and is a native of Houston.
