He was elated to see how staff, volunteers, and visitors find ways to make patients at Ramstein Air Base's Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility feel safe and welcome. The Air Force's Strategic Transitory Care process ensures wounded warriors are kept safe and receive consistent care throughout the journey from Afghanistan through Germany to the United States.
