A U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base’s 354th Fighter Squadron taxis to its parking spot as Airmen from the 455th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron off load and arm aircraft at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Oct. 3, 2012. The 354 FS ‘Bulldogs’ are relieving Bagram’s current team of Arkansas and Maryland Air National Guard A-10 aircrews and will soon take on the mission of providing daily close-air support to NATO and Afghan ground forces operating in Afghanistan.
