Impact Force v. Speed with 0.05 Sec Deceleration Time

This chart depicts the force with which a 20-pound object can strike you if it’s not secured within the interior of your vehicle. The 1,000 pounds of force has the potential to kill. The average packed suitcase weighs 30-35 pounds, increasing the force to approximately 1,500 pounds.
