SrA Rebekah Long 455 ELRS/ LOG PLANS recognized 28 Feb 2012

SrA Long has proven herself a very competent and professional Log Planner. She handles hundreds of customers a week, many with travel problems. She is always quick, knowledgeable and pleasant when dealing with everyone. She was the head log planner in charge of planning the entire Close Air Support Reset, swapping the F-16s with the A-10s from Kandahar. She coordinated all the preparation and cargo movement (183 tons), Passenger movement(61 pax) and submitted all nine Intra-theater Airlift requests for precise timing. She is the key liaison to TMO Pax, confirming hundreds of commercial/AMC travel requests ensuring a 97% on-time departure reliability rate. She mastered the Single Mobility System, tracking inbound and outbound missions. She has proven herself while providing expert briefings to squadron and group commanders. AFCENT even sent a top civilian to Bagram to interview her about how the CAS reset was executed so smoothly and what can be improved and how to improve it! She continues to amaze everyone who meets her that a Senior Airman is such an expert and so professional.
