Ammo rearms the fight
Two bombs lie ready to rejoin the munitions stock following an assembled munitions serviceability inspection by the 455th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Dec. 28, 2011. Ammo Dawgs disassembled the two bombs and checked their components to ensure the bombs would work when deployed. Throughout December, the Ammo team inspected 22 bombs and performed 355 post load visual and integrated built-in test inspections on bombs that were unloaded from aircraft due to aircraft maintenance.
