Reach for the STARS
Airman 1st Class Zongtag Vang, 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron water and fuel maintenance technician, helps a student from a local school build a water-propelled rocket Nov. 20 at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Each of the 20 students launched hand-built rockets crafted out of water bottles, cardboard and duct tape as part of the Science and Technology Advancement and Relationships (STARS) program.
