Deployed Airmen, Soldiers conduct joint convoy training
Spc. Josiah Espinoza, a medic with the 3rd Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, performs combat life- saving procedures on a downed Soldier during convoy training Oct. 28, 2011, at the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing. The Army unit requested this training from the 380th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron so their Soldiers could learn from Airmen with first-hand experience. The training covered threat response for things like improvised explosive devices and ambushers as well as wounded-Soldier evacuations and procedures for sending reports up to appropriate channels.
