Inspection in deployed location gets jets back in the air sooner

David Hall, a member of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics phase team conducts, a regularly-scheduled deep-dive inspection of a U-2, Sept.1, 2011, at an air base in Southwest Asia. The inspection takes the team of 14 civilians 19 days from start to finish and encompasses 450 special inspection items that are critical to keeping the aircraft flying.
