Chiefs show hard work pays off during combined cultural sporting event
The 380th Air Expeditionary Wing chiefs' group team high-fives the 380th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron team after winning a tug o' war match Aug. 9, 2011, during the 2011 Ramadan Games. After each victory the chiefs' group team paid respect to their opposing team with a post-game chant of the squadron or career field of their competitors. The Ramadan Games is an annual sporting competition put on at an air base in Southwest Asia in which teams from the 380th AEW, the 3rd Battalion, 4th Air Defense Regiment of the U.S. Army, the French air force and the host nation military compete in events including soccer, volleyball, tug o' war and swimming.
