PRT Kapisa brightens future for girls of Kapisa
KAPISA PROVINCE, Afghanistan – U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Michael Sierco, Kapisa Provincial Reconstruction Team commander from Bowie, Md., speaks to school officials at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly constructed Kohi Girl’s School in Afghanya here, March, 28. The girl’s school was built to accommodate more than 400 female students from the Afghanya valley. The mission of Kapisa PRT is to help facilitate the local and national governments of Afghanistan working together to help provide for the development and security needs of the Afghan people.
